I’ve got a good grip on the overall story and where it’s going to head, but the finer details need some working out. Unusually, this is emerging as a first person narrative, but the chapters alternate between two points of view: Grace is is one. Damon is my other viewpoint. He’s a bad boy. VERY bad. I love his cynicism and arrogance.

There is a twist to this that doesn’t make it just your average run-of-the-mill romance story, but I’m going to sit on that awhile yet.

It should be a truth universally acknowledged that a bad boy is always more attractive to a good girl than any gentleman of good fortune. He intrigues her; makes her tremble. Fear? Lust? Desire? Or perhaps a hedonistic cocktail of all three: bad for you, yet oh-so-tempting - like molten chocolate. A little taste of the forbidden never did anyone any harm…
